Durga Dance
Durga Dance is a sacred, conscious style of tribal fusion belly dance rooted in bhakti yoga, where movement becomes devotion and dance becomes ritual. Blending elements of American Tribal Style (ATS) group choreography, circle dancing, and storytelling, this practice honors the Divine Feminine, the Herstory of belly dance, and the archetypes of feminine wisdom through embodied movement.
Durga Dance supports mind–body integration, spinal and pelvic health, and offers a powerful approach to birth preparation, postnatal recovery, and lifelong feminine vitality. Practiced in circle with shared intention and moving meditation, it is non-performative and deeply inclusive, inviting women to cultivate confidence, body trust, sensual vitality, and community connection. More than a class, Durga Dance is a daily practice, a ritual offering, and a living pathway of empowerment, joy, and embodied remembrance.
